BBC Construction & Remodeling, Inc., has offered custom design-build construction and remodeling to the greater Fox Valley area since 1985. Our services include room additions, kitchen renovations, bath remodels, basement finishing, cabinetry, and whole-house remodeling. We also provide home restorations, such as 'old house' restorations of entries, porches, staircases, and others. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with our customers, to serve their contracting needs over the life of their home.

Established in 1985 by Jack Zaruba, BBC Construction & Remodeling, Inc. has built a reputation for well-managed residential projects. Our room additions, kitchen and bath renovations, historic restorations, and other custom projects are all integrated into the existing home design so that only you know where the 'old' ends and the 'new' begins.
As your remodeling expert, we efficiently coordinate the construction phases involved for fast and smooth progress to complete your project in a timely manner. Carefully listening to your goals for your remodeling project, paying attention to your preferences and budget. Integrating the various aspects of your project with existing features of your home to make the most of both.
The range for 'average' kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and other projects is an elusive number. The wide variety in products, and quality of those products, means we can design and install a remodeling project to match nearly any budget. Keep your priorities front and center. Remodeling projects are susceptible to 'mission creep'.

Jack Zaruba and his network of excellent subcontractors are awesome. Doing business as BBC Construction & Remodeling, Inc. in the far west suburbs of Chicago, they are competent, courteous, personable, and productive. Specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, and "aging in place", BBC Construction & Remodeling also takes on larger renovation and house addition projects.
Our early 1900s farmhouse is improved by Jack's deft design work and craftsmanship. BBC Construction & Remodeling recently refashioned a portion of our ground floor into a pleasant "geriatric master suite". Our upstairs bathroom is renovated and all supporting infrastructure is significantly improved. Everything in the house is now up to code. An earlier project with BBC Construction and Remodeling included turning a sinking enclosed front porch into a stunning sunroom with a proper full foundation, replacing many windows and siding on the entire house, upgrading the electric service, and fixing a troublesome multi-valley patch of roof.

It's hard to describe how Jack and his team take what might be about the most anxiety-ridden remodeling job and make it smooth and enjoyable. Even fun! The level of care and quality are highest level. Professional, considerate, they make a schedule and keep to it! They only work with the very best subs when necessary.and all are welcome back into our home anytime. I'm so glad I found them.

I've used BBC for six home projects, and I've gotten quality professional results done on schedule. Projects have been major (700 sq ft addition to house, completely remodeled kitchen and master bathroom) and small (new kitchen window) I've referred friends to BBC, and have no reservations about recommending their work.
