Canyon Kitchen & Bath

Easily a lifetme top ten dining experience. The food was out of this world, the drinks were above average, the service was outstanding. The ambiance and scenery sincerely cant be beat. Outstanding all-around.

We were seated at a table overlooking the parking lot and the main dining room was empty - no reason not to allow us to move. The curtains were pulled down and were too cloudy to see the parking lot. The menu looked ok - but we didn't stay to eat. The whole experience was very disappointing.

A truly special place with incredible views and atmosphere. Food was fantastic and service was excellent. Only thing that I wish was different was to arrive earlier to drink at the outside bar and enjoy the view for longer. They added a 20% service charge split amongst all the staff before the tip you add, which was a bit odd.

The food was phenomenal and the desserts were amazing as well. It's at a beautiful location and has a great atmosphere. The staff was great, polite and always attentive. They also had plenty of knowledge about the menu and made some great recommendations.

We had a reservation to celebrate our anniversary April 16 at 7:15. We arrived at 7:10 and were seated. All the doors & windows were wide open and it was exactly 51 degrees. No one at the restaurant contacted us ahead of time to tell us we would for all intents and purposes be seated outdoors in the cold and wind, with the sun setting to become even colder.

We asked if one of the few standing room heaters could be brought near our table when the hostess sat us. We then sat for for 15 minutes without a soul coming by, greeting us, saying they would be right with us.nothing. We decided we were not about to have a positive dining experience and it would definitely not the 'the best in the area' as touted.

We left, headed back to Highlands where we'd driven from, and had a wonderful experience at Midpoint Highlands. From drinks to amazing meal and creative dessert, it was a delightful evening after all. I have to assume Canyon Kitchen can do much better, especially with guests who have reservations.

The staff went out of their way to make our anniversary special. Service was quick, professional and efficient. Ambiance was rustic, yet elegant. The food was simple, but very well executed. I recommend the meat and cheese platter, the short ribs and the yogurt and beet panna cotta for dessert.

With one of the most beautiful Vistas I have ever seen from a restaurant, this place will wow you, from food to location. Must go for a memorable date night!

Deb and John are kind, understanding people who worked hand in hand with us to design and build our new kitchen. We wanted a compact kitchen with clean lines and lots of storage. Deb and John saw to it we got exactly what we wanted. They imagineered with us when we needed more space. The helped us compromise on costs. They were patient with my ignorance.

They were helpful with suggestions. People here in the Coachella Valley seem to redecorate their homes every few years, they seem so experienced about such things. I needed a kind, patient guiding hand who wasn't gonna fleece me out of my last buck. John and Deb at Canyon Kitchen and Bath are wonderful. We had an experience with ANOTHER designer redoing the bathrooms in our small house in the Cove, and it was a nightmare of additional costs and incomplete information.

By contrast, Deb is patient. She explains EVERYthing. And she was very sensitive to our financial limits. I highly recommend Canyon Kitchen & Bath. [Yes, I know the photos are not dazzling, like a design magazine. Instead, they are the pictures of a kitchen that gets lots of use and is a much loved center of our house.]

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The atmosphere with the canyon is absolutely breathtaking. Those large Adirondack style chairs facing the rock wall on the side of the large box canyon is truly unique for eastern North America. The drinks are fantastic and very creative, using ingredients grown on the farm. The food is absolutely delicious as well.

The only gripe is the cost. It will definitely set you back a couple of hundred dollars. It is good for a special occasion. Insiders tip - go for drinks and get dinner elsewhere for a more budget option!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Canyon Kitchen. We visited as our first night out after our wedding. The view was beautiful, the staff was amazingly accommodating and lovely and the food was just perfect! This was a night we will certainly remember and a place we would certainly return to. Thank you for making it such an amazing night!

What a perfect place to celebrate! The set option menu is excellent and the service is impeccable. I wish there had been valet parking, but otherwise the entire experience was perfect.

Canyon Kitchens provides "white glove" kitchen remodels, large and small. Perfection is their middle name. John is an expert cabinet maker with 25+ years of experience. He is nice, detailed oriented, and is not pushy. He offers a wide variety of countertop materials including granite and ceasar stone and beautiful cabinets. He is organized and sticks to his timeline. He has done a ton of work for us at our home in Rancho Mirage and consistently exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend John and Canyon Kitchens. Exceptional!
