Our firm supplies kitchen and bath design services to the New York City metropolitan area, Westchester and Rockland counties, the Hudson Valley region, and adjoining areas in Connecticut and New Jersey. We have over fifteen years knowledge and are members of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Our manager/chief designer is Maggie McManus, an expert kitchen designer certified by the NKBA.

Our kitchen design experience with McManus Group couldn't have been better. Unlike other design/construction companies we considered, McManus came TO US for our first appointment. Owner Maggie McManus and Principal Designer Kathryn Martin got a feel for our home and our style before making any suggestions or doing any pricing. Kathryn brought us some inventive solutions we would never have thought of to make our smallish kitchen both functional and stylish - and still compatible with our 1930's-era house.
She matched us with a local contractor who gave us high-quality work and who was on schedule and on-budget. And she saw the project through from start to finish, ever patient with our concerns and questions. I highly recommend Maggie and Kathryn for your kitchen design project!

We used the services of the MacManus group for the remodeling of our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The work was completed 6 months ago and we are really happy with the results. Throughout the process, Kathryn was a pleasure to work with: attentive, patient, creative and responsive. She communicated effectively with our GC, enabling the project to go smoothly despite the unexpected challenges due to the pandemic. There were a few mistakes along the way but they were addressed in a timely and professional manner. Overall we are satisfied and would gladly work with Kathryn again.

We have an older Cape Cod home, and the McManus Group helped us redesign our kitchen. They fashioned a marvelous space for us: a completely updated, user-friendly kitchen and dining area, creating a warm and inviting "great room". Their work has become the central space of our house and wonderfully transformed the way we view and use our home. Working with Maggie and Kathyrn was a pleasure: everything was installed according to plan, with creative solutions and timely responses to all our concerns. We call our house "The House of Maggie". It all started fifteen years ago when a small kitchen and a separate dining area became a larger, functional, and fun farmhouse kitchen that still looks amazing. Maggie and her team later gave our bathrooms fresh, clean, much needed updates and they transformed the exterior of our house with new color, siding, trim, doors and light fixtures.
Most recently they converted our third bedroom into a cozy den/office by incorporating custom cabinetry. Working with Maggie is a fun experience. She has an extraordinary sense of color and design. She is innovative, knowledgeable, thoughtful, organized, and budget conscious. Because she takes the time to get to know her clients, the end result is personal and timeless, reflecting who the clients are and not who somebody else thinks they should be.

I hired Maggie McManus to help me with a kitchen renovation several years ago. She was absolutely fabulous to work with. The kitchen design that she prepared was not only beautiful but completely functional for how I cook and use the space. I am still getting compliments on the kitchen and I love everything about it. I was so happy with how it came out, that I had Maggie comer back and help me redo my bathroom, which I think is also spectacular! Here are some photos of the kitchen and the bath:

We have worked with Maggie and her staff for more than 15 years. First they re-did our downstairs den area, then they re-did our kitchen with a modern kitchen that still gets compliments 12 years after it was installed; not to be deprived our apartment in Manhattan needed some re-design in the library/gallery and that has also been accomplished. We are currently working with McManus Group to redo our apartment kitchen. Reliable and customer oriented, Maggie and staff have done a fabulous job in designing, assisting us in selecting materials, and working closely with our contractors. Highly recommended! See photos.

Maggie has worked on a number of projects with me including two bathrooms, a kitchen and a large-scale project on a second home. In each case, the results were extraordinary: beautiful, innovative design making use of the existing space, and fun with a superb use of color. Maggie brings to the table her creativity and many years of design experience.
She listened to my thoughts on each space and then made suggestions on design, materials and color, all in keeping with the style of the house. For the large-scale project, Maggie essentially had to start over to restore my 1880s house following water damage that touched almost every room. She handily drew up design plans, helped restore original woodwork and made improvements, where necessary.
She sourced materials, coordinated numerous contractors and oversaw all the work from beginning to end. I am grateful to Maggie for her excellent project skills, focus on details, guidance and recovery vision during that time. I would without hesitation engage Maggie and her team on any future project.
