I had Travis as a sale rep give me a real competitive quote with delivery included compared to lowes or home depot and did so fast so I decided to try Mans lumber and I'm glad I did. They were curtious of my property and the presentation of the wood was professional and neat. They placed the lumber in my backyard like I asked for and went the extra mile by closing my gate for me and hiding the lumber around the corner on the driveway so it's not in plain sight without me asking to.

I would definitely recommend mans lumber to a friend and will pick them again for the next time I need wood for anything. Their wood quality is superior to lowes or home depot and basically the same price.

We bought our carpet from Chris. He was very nice and helpful. There was a few hiccups with the installation but Chris worked hard to solve the issues and we love our carpet.

We recently completed a gut/renovation of our master bathroom. We worked with Kathy Loomis at Man's Lumber to coordinate design, order, oversee, and purchase materials for the project. Kathy directed us to Herald Wholesale for plumbing fixtures and, if they don't have it, no one does when it comes to faucets, shower heads, toilets, etc. Herald works efficiently with Man's to complete the plumbing requirements.

Since we were still in the Covid pandemic, some components needed (most notably tile) were difficult to source and provide in a timely manner. When one of our key tiles suddenly became unavailable, Kathy worked closely with their supplier (Emser Tile) to very rapidly source a new comparable tile and get it to our jobsite. It really was an "all hands on deck" effort and we are very grateful for their efforts on our behalf.

There was an issue with procurement of our shower glass and door; the initial supplier backed out. However; Kathy worked with her contacts to find another shower glass contractor and our delay was just a few days. The end result is beautiful. Randy Andrews was our contractor for the project. He completed all work (demo, reframing, electrical, plumbing, painting, and most significantly tiling) on his own.

We highly recommend him. He was meticulous, dependable, skilled, flexible, and careful to minimize effects on the rest of the house. He was recommended by Man's Lumber and coordinated his work and their supply delivery efficiently. In summary, I highly recommend Kathy Loomis and Man's Lumber as the route to take if you are remodeling your kitchen or bathroom.

We have built/remodeled six homes and Kathy was great at interpreting our "visions" into the project. If we had been complete novices, she would have also been able to guide us through the entire process.

I used Mans Lumber for a kitchen remodel and a flooring project. They have a huge selection of products. Brianna H was my designer and was able to bring the kitchen design to life. Very happy with how it turned out. She was able to recommend a construction company/contractor who was also fabulous (CMS). I had initially looked at some design build firms but I liked the flexibility of being able to get the cabinetry and flooring from Mans but still having the option to get things like lighting and door pulls myself.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well the design team at Mans was able to coordinate with my contractor to make sure everything went smoothly. Also special shout out to the Mans flooring team for putting in new wood flooring the blended seamlessly with the old flooring. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our experience at Mans.

Personally, I would not recommend working at this establishment. Most of the other employees are great people, but management never seemed very receptive to any type of critique. I'm very outspoken, and voice my concerns when I feel the need to. When I decided to talk about the grueling work conditions (we physically lift thousands of pounds every day), I was scolded, and was not even given the opportunity to fully express my opinion.

Despite myself being respectful and courteous in my final conversation with the manager, I was yelled at, constantly interrupted, and talked down to as if my words don't matter. Constantly feeling disrespected as a loyal hard-working employee, I felt I was being treated unjustly, so I decided to quit. An employee should feel proud and appreciated by the company they work for. Employees are the foundation of the company.

If you listen to your employees' concerns, incentivize them to thrive in a physically intensive job, and make them feel appreciated, you will have a solid foundation for your business. On the other hand, if you ignore your employees, disrespect them, and don't give them a reason to want to keep subjecting themselves to the nature of the job, you will breed resentment amongst your employees, and in turn, your business is now operating on a foundation that isn't structurally sound.

A house built on a faulty foundation, will inevitably, collapse under its own weight. Truly, I hope they begin to make more of an emphasis on building employee morale (and buddy power), because there are some tough, gritty people there busting their butts every day, and they don't deserve to be ignored and belittled like I was. Otherwise, if things don't change, they should get used to the revolving door of sub-optimal employees starting and quitting every 2 months, because no rational person would constantly subject themselves to that kind of physical and mental stress.

They'll probably reply to this with something like, "We've been in business over 100 years, so we must be good to our employees!" Yeah, keep telling yourself that. Ignore your employee's concerns at your own peril.

Their cabinet service has been terribly disappointing. Changes were made without our sign off, which further delayed our renovation by months. This crucial mistake is especially tough with COVID delays. It wasn't caught by any of us until countertop measurements were taken. Even with the covid challenges, Kristin was the best rep to work with and did all she could to help.

Wish we worked with her from the beginning. However their inattention to detail and lack of communication lends to an honest review not to go here or work with Merillat unless 12+ month timeline is your timeline.

I just want to let everyone know how much we love our kitchen cabinets and backsplash purchased and installed through Mans. It looks beautiful. The workmanship is excellent and the installer did a meticulous job installing everything. I will highly recommend Mans to everyone who will be in my beautiful new kitchen.

I wish I could rate negative star. Basically, we got the worst experience you can have in any open business. The employees are so angry. We were told our order was ready to pick up so we went there. Then, they realized something was actually not fulfilled. And the person who handled our order got angry and another guy started to blame us. Our constructor tried to explain what were needed and he rudely told him stop talking.

For a moment, I thought we were talking to a judge. All other employees started to hostility starred at us like we were the problems. We paid thousands of dollars for the order and got blamed for their own fault.

Great family run company. They are very professional and will treat you right. I just got a Trex deck from them and from the time I place the order, until it was delivered (in the thumb of Michigan) everything went smoothly. All the material was high quality and nothing was back ordered. The driver delivered the material to the back of the house with a Hi-Lo and was carful not to destroy the grass. If you have a Trex deck project you would like to do, go to Man's Lumber in Canton. #Manslumber #Trex

How many people do you have to walk by with no acknowledgement? For us it was 5! We finally had to ask someone to help us. Go to Kurtis Kitchen & Bath at Allen and King. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful from your first step in their door. Believe it or not, customer service is still king!
