Take your business elsewhere, even if it costs you a bit more money, and save yourself the headache. Tub Solutions was scheduled to reglaze my tub after I had moved out in preparation to sell. When the day arrived, the technician called me as I'm literally driving up 95 moving my family to New England and started complaining that there is no parking - if you know McLean Gardens, then you know there is plenty of parking available all over the place.

After some back and forth with him (including him asking me to register his truck with DC so he can park, which I've never heard of being a thing and even if it is a thing I couldn't do because I was driving), he had his boss (the owner maybe?) call me and he continued to complain and said if I didn't provide adequate parking then he would have to cancel - and cancel he did, putting me in a bind as I scrambled to get another company to actually do the job in time to list the property.

During the 6 years I lived there, I never had a single person complain about the parking, including electricians, appliance repairmen, painters, plumbers, general contractors, etc. These guys have a strange perspective if they think it is the customer's responsibility to get them to the job site, that's on them. I can't imagine telling one of my clients that I won't meet them unless they arrange my commute, I would be laughed right out of their business. And that's what you should do, laugh at the absurdity of this company and go take your business somewhere reliable and dependent.

I highly recommend Tub Solutions. Brian did a beautiful job of reglazing my tub. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained all the steps and kept me informed me as to what to expect. He explained the care I should take after completion. Price was very reasonable. Have recommended Tub Solutions to a neighbor who has a blue tub. She will recommend to her neighbor with a pink tub!

Do you have a job? Would you be held responsible at that job if you made a mistake that cost people money? Or would you yell at the problem until it went away? Tub Solutions will do the later. If they give you inaccurate advice, they will deny all responsibility for "your tub." We have a cast-iron clawfoot tub that needed refinishing. Our plumber disconnected it and moved it out of the bathroom as part of a larger renovation. Tub Solutions told us that refinishing should be the last step in the process - to call them when the faucet and drain were hooked up again.

The plumber wasn't sure that was a good idea, but Blaine (the owner?) told us the plumbers should stick to plumbing and that they've refinished hundreds of tubs with the fixtures on and it would be fine, so we had the plumber put the new faucet on. When Tub Solutions arrived to do the refinishing, the installer warned us that the acidic fumes from the glazing process could damage the faucet's polished brass finish.

I would need to have the plumber come back and remove the fixtures and put them back on again, and we all know how much it costs to get a plumber out of bed in the morning. I called Blaine and suggested that we order an upgraded package of work, but we would ask that Tub Solutions cover the cost to remove the faucet since we would not have installed it absent Blaine's assurances.

I hoped that adding the extra work and asking him to cover $100-200 would allow him to roughly break even, but Blaine called this proposal stupid and yelled at me that he "wasn't going to pay to refinish [my] tub." All I was asking was to help me fix his mistake. He never asked about the finish of my faucet, he just assumed it was chrome. People on Yelp! exaggerate about being yelled at all the time but this dude was legit yelling.

I told him to take it down a notch and stop yelling at me and he suggested I find another tub refinisher. If you're reading this, I suggest you do the same. Tub Solutions employs skillful refinishers (from what I can tell), but if anything goes wrong, expect no compromise from this company.

Brian did a beautiful job of re-glazing our old peach tub to a bright white! Professional, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Price was extremely reasonable and saved us a lot in comparison to replacing the tub. Would absolutely use them again and will recommend to friends!

Instead of buying a new bath tub, consider hiring Tub Solutions to re-glaze it, it will save you a ton of money and the bath tub will look brand new. I just had my entire house remodeled, the re-modeler recommend that instead of installing a new bath tub, find a reputable company that can re-glaze it. I'm glad I did, saved me a couple of thousand dollars.

I found Tub Solutions on Angie's List and called to set up an appointment. I talked to the owner Blaine, who said the same thing as the company remodeling the house, don't install a new bath tub just re-glaze it, I'm glad I followed their advice. On the day of the service being performed, the two workers, Brian and Terrence arrived early and wasted no time getting down to business.

They explained every step of the process to my wife and I, especially the best way to take care of the bath tub in the future. Both men were very professional, knowledgeable about the work being performed and friendly. They did an amazing job, the bath tub looks brand new. I would not hesitate to hire Tub Solutions again.

This review dates back to spring of this year. We were having problems with our bathtub. Unbeknownst to us, the previous owner had placed a plastic liner over the original tub. We noticed a small pocket of water slowly getting bigger and bigger underneath the liner. We could step on the pocket of water and hear sloshing around - gross. The landlord found this company and was the one who dealt with them, so I don't know about the customer service and cost. However, Brian the technician came out to do the work, and seemed very thorough, sealing off the bathroom from the rest of the house.

It took most of the day to complete. The result was excellent. Tub was shiny and looked brand-new. The only thing was, neither the landlord nor the company really warned us of the permeating smell of the work. We lived in a very small place and did not have windows in our bathroom so we could not ventilate very well. We ended up finding the smell unbearable and actually had to stay elsewhere overnight. However, the results speak for themselves and the tub is still in great condition 6+ months later.
